Adelphians Wear Red, White & Pink for Valentine’s Day!
BAY RIDGE — All you need is love! Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn students, faculty and staff showed their love and appreciation for Adelphi — and each other — on Red, White & Pink Day! Dressed in their favorite Valentine’s Day colors, students enjoyed posing for photos, shopping at Adelphi’s Valentine’s Day Boutique and spreading love and joy to everyone on this special day!
Adelphians also gave and received Valentine’s Day Candy Grams. Members of Adelphi’s Student Advisory Board delivered hundreds of these special items, which included delicious lollipops and candies as well as adorable plush toys, to their excited recipients throughout the day.
Head of School Ms. Iphigenia Romanos said, “Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn’s Annual Red, White & Pink Dress Down Day allowed students and staff members to show love for each other and their school by purchasing items in our Valentine’s Day Boutique and by sending special Candy Grams to their classmates and colleagues — all while dressed in colors associated with Valentine’s Day!”
The boutique featured tons of fun items related to the holiday, from pencils with heart-shaped erasers to bracelets, hats and headbands decorated with hearts. Students of all ages enjoyed visiting the boutique during their lunch periods throughout the weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day and purchasing their favorite items.
