BAY RIDGE — There was a “crazy” amount of creativity on display at Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn as students, faculty and staff sported outrageous headgear on Crazy Hat Day, Tuesday, November 22. It was the latest in a series of monthly Spirit Day events at Adelphi designed to promote unity and boost school spirit.

Adelphians of all ages enjoyed customizing their headgear to incorporate stuffed animals, pop culture, jewels and other household items with the goal of spreading cheer and positivity throughout the school community.

“Adelphi’s ongoing Spirit Day program — and Crazy Hat Day, in particular — serves as an opportunity to boost school spirit by allowing students and staff to participate in an event that showcases their creativity and personality,” said Adelphi’s Head of School Ms. Iphigenia Romanos. “The day provided a positive forum for students to express themselves while showing that we are all extremely proud to be a part of the Adelphi community.”
